Jan Janssens Sensei, (°1951, Belgium) is the chief instructor Aikijujutsu – Kobukai in the Flemish Ju-Jitsu Federation and Yudansha Kobujutsu and Karatedoh Federation (Y.K.K.F) chief instructor world.
Sensei holds a Kyoshi 8th Dan in aikijujutsu / aikido and a 1st Dan in Katori Shinto Ryu kobudo.
He took aikido seminars under Kishomaru Ueshiba, Moriteru Ueshiba, Rinjiro Shirata, Yoshimitsi Yamada, Masatake Fujita, Minoru Kanetsuka, Seiichi Sugano and Toshikazu Ichimura.
Jan Janssens was promoted shodan in Aikikai aikido in 1971 by Hirokazu Kobayashi, trained Yoseikan aikido under Mochizuki sensei, aikibudo under Floquet sensei and was promoted shodan in Katori Shinto Ryu by Yoshio Sugino sensei
In august 2001, Mochizuki sensei honoured Jan Janssens bij giving him official permission to use name “Aikijujutsu Yoseikan” for his martial system.
